Questions About Merging NSF Files
Which Lotus Notes items does the software merge?
Emails, contacts, calendar entries, notes, tasks and journals all merge into one NSF file. Browse the Names.nsf file separately to merge contacts.
What is the difference between Merge and Join?
Merge combines similar folders from every NSF file into one folder. Join places every NSF file under the output file as its own folder. Inbox1.nsf and Inbox2.nsf stay apart.
Can I remove duplicate items while merging?
Yes. Tick Remove Duplicates in Merge mode and repeated items stay out of the output file. Join mode offers the Exclude Deleted Items option only.
Can I leave out deleted emails?
Yes. Tick Exclude Deleted Items and the software skips the Deleted Items folder in Merge and in Join mode.
Can I merge Lotus Notes archive files?
Yes. Add two or more archive NSF files and the software combines them into one common archive without a change to the folder structure.
Can I merge NSF files from a Domino server?
Yes. Files from a Lotus Domino server work when they are in offline mode.
Can I rename the merged file?
Yes. Set a custom display name for the parent folder of the output NSF file.
Does the software show the progress?
Yes. Live status shows the folder hierarchy of the merged files and the count of duplicates removed.

Can I get a refund?
Yes. Refund requests are accepted for 30 days under the RecoveryTools refund policy. Software bought without a demo evaluation does not qualify. Email a signed Letter of Destruction to sales@recovery-tools.org. Bundle purchases cannot be refunded.
