Which Gmail data does the software back up?
Emails with attachments and folders, contacts, calendar events and Google Drive files all back up. Select any mix of the four workloads on the setup screen.
Which formats can I save Gmail emails in?
PST, MBOX, EML, MSG and PDF files are available for emails. Contacts save as VCF and calendar events save as ICS.
Does the software store my Gmail password?
No. Sign in opens the official Google consent screen in your default browser through OAuth 2.0. Select all scopes there and click Continue.
Can I back up only some folders or dates?
Yes. Select Folders lets you include chosen folders and the email filter limits the backup to a date range.
What is delta backup?
Delta backup downloads only the mail that arrived after your last backup. Duplicates stay out and the next session finishes sooner.
Can I back up many Gmail accounts?
Yes. Multiple user licenses cover 10 to 500 Gmail accounts at $5 per account.
Can the software save Google Drive files?
Yes. Docs save as DOC, Sheets as XLSX, Slides as PPTX and Drawings as JPEG. Uploaded files keep their original format and Shared with me files are included.
What if a backup stops before it finishes?
Use Retry Failed to fetch the items that missed the first attempt or start the full backup again. Delta backup then adds new mail only.
Does Delete After Download remove mail from Gmail?
Yes. Gmail drops the mail from its server after it saves on your computer and only PST output supports that option. Leave the box unchecked to keep your mail in Gmail.
Is there a Mac edition?
Yes. Mac edition 10.3.0 works on macOS Big Sur 11 and later with Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. Get the Mac edition demo or the Mac edition license.
What does the free demo include?

Which Windows versions work with the software?

Can I get a refund?
Yes. Refund requests are accepted for 30 days under the RecoveryTools refund policy. Software bought without a demo evaluation does not qualify. Email a signed Letter of Destruction to sales@recovery-tools.org. Bundle purchases cannot be refunded.
