The given segment explains step by step guidelines to run the software. Complete work-flow of the software is explained with screens shots in their respective order. So, follow every step and read it’s details to understand the product working.
1 - Install & Run the EXE:
Download the setup & Install it on your PC. Then run the setup by clicking ‘Run’ option. Or access the software from ‘All Program’ option under Start button & select RecoveryTools for MS Outlook. Tool automatically loads all pst files configured or opened with ms outlook
2 - Load Desired Outlook PST File:
To repair another .pst file, click the ‘Browse’ option to load the PST file in software interface. From the window select the required PST files and click on Open:
2.1 - Select PST File:
Select the file from the list of PST files which is required to recover & export. Enable the related checkbox to select the PST file. You can select multiple Outlook PST files simultaneously.
2.2 - Advance Scan:
Use when Outlook PST file has major corruption issues or the emails are permanently deleted
3 - Scanning Process Starts:
The PST file scanning starts, watch green status bar shown in the interface of software.
4 - Folder Selection Method:
By default ‘All Folders’ are selected, for exporting the desired folders only, use the ‘Selected Folder’ option.
5 - Select Destination Type:
Select the file type in which output is required, ‘Export to PST file(s).
5.1 - More Export Options:
Other options like Export to MSG, EML, PDF & MBOX export the recovered data items into MSG, EML, PDF & MBOX file formats respectively. Naming Convention can be applied for saving the name of EML, MSG & PDF Type mails.
6 - Extract the Data Without MS Outlook Installation:
By default the software export the recovered PST data without installation of Outlook, which has limited support for Calendars, Contacts, Notes, Tasks and Journals.
6.1 - Select the Outlook Mode
Use this mode if Outlook is already installed in the machine, also there is option to create the PST file according to desired size.
6.2 - Select Desired Destination Location
Change the default location to save the recovered PST file in selected format and give a proper destination path.
7 - Exporting Process Begins:
The status bar shows the number of items per exported to the selected Output format. The process can be interrupted using ‘Stop’ button.
7.1 - Select Options from Pop-Up,
There are two option pop up after completion of Export process. The ‘Generate Report’ and ‘Open Target Folder’ option
8 - Generate Reports:
The ‘Generate Report’ option saves the Export report in CSV format to the desired destination location.
8.1 - Notification Window:
A notification pop up window will appear showing that the CSV file is generated and saved successfully on the select location.
9 - Open Output Location:
Open Target Folder’ shows the folder that contains the Output data after export process.
9.1 - Open PST File in Outlook
Open MS Outlook to Preview the recovered PST file by using File >> Open >> Outlook Data Files.
